5/14/2003 (Washington, DC and Long Beach, CA) – Cartisan Maps, a custom mapping company, was founded today by M. Brody Dittemore and Oscar C. Larson. Cartisan Maps will emphasize the design of aesthetic and functional maps, customized for businesses and individuals. Our cartographers and map staff will utilize advanced digital map production techniques for tourism, education, event planning, and wedding markets. Cartisan Maps will also provide GIS solutions and graphic design work.
